Kappa Deltas have a strong presence in both local and national philanthropies. In our local community we spend time volunteering at places such as Stonewall Jackson Hospital, Waddell Elementary, and the SPCA. Our chapter also supports a local Lexington girl scout troop, advised by Girl Scout Chair Olivia Riffle and Vice President Community Service Jen Snyder. In the fall, we host our annual Shamrock Event, "Wieners on Windfall," in which through the selling of hot dogs, t-shirts, and entrance fees for the popular hot dog eating contest, we raise money for one of our main philanthropies, Prevent Child Abuse America.
